Day three: Let's build and launch a website in one weekend!

Down to the draw - will we make it in time?

The goal was simple - to build and launch a website from scratch over the weekend. We started on Friday night and worked through all day yesterday. Now it's Sunday - day three - the final day of this experiment.

Will we make it?

Hard to tell. Yesterday was extremely productive, but there's still a lot to do and a lot of details to be ironed out.

Day three

11:45am - I'm sitting in church, trying not to make my tapping fingers too noticeable by the people sitting around me. It's a little uncomfortable, but I'm sure God understands. Chris is currently M.I.A.

2:51pm - I've arrived back home and Chris is hard at work and listening to Genesis. Time to bury self in work!

3:05pm - "We just went from doing this well to just doing this." - Chris, as "I wanna know what love is" plays on the speakers.

5:00pm - B*tches can't handle the streets! That's some real conversation for ya!

7:30pm - We just put the website live and are asking friends and family to blow it up with content. It's exciting! Technically we're not done, but lack of sleep and sitting in these chairs for hours is starting to make us loopy, so we're off to take a short break before we come back to clean up the last few things.

9:00pm - Had a good dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise and now we're watching the VMA's and getting back into the site. People have been filling in content and we've been refreshing obsessively. Fun times!

10:45pm - We're on the verge! This thing's almost ready for prime time!

The big announcement!

11:00pm - With one hour to spare...ladies and gentlemen, Jihad on you! is now launched!

It's been an awesome experience this weekend. There weren't any really big surprises, but it was a great lesson in hunkering down and plowing through things.

Thanks to everyone who followed along! We'll have to do it again sometime!

Re-cap tomorrow!
